2 for 1 (Almost) - Trail Mix Recipes


Trail Mix is so easy to make and a small amount can really give you a nice boost. It's also a great snack when you're entertaining. A lot of the store bought trail mix is expensive and usually has one or two things that you don't like. Why not make your own so that it's ALL GOOD? A trail mix you can really sink your teeth into? 

Here are two variations of a recipe that's sure to please. They're both sweet and salty with no tiny bits and requires no cooking or baking. (Note: if you are allergic to nuts or dairy this is not the mix for you.)

Recipe #1 - Peanut Choco Raisin Mix
200 Calories per Serving / Makes 10 Servings
Approximately 12 g fat / 127 g sodium per serving


Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Raisins
  • 1 Box Raisinets
  • 1.5 cup Peanuts
  • 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Bare Baked Crunchy Coconut Chips


Recipe #2 - Cashew Peanut Butter Choco Raisin Mix
236 Calories per Serving / Makes 10 Servings
Approximately 16 g fat / 150 mg sodium per serving


Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Cashews
  • 1 Cup Peanut Butter Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Raisins
  • 1/2 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Bare Baked Crunchy Coconut Chips
